Santini Bar & Grill

I ordered: New york striploin, crispy potato, bread starter, espresso martini The place was beautiful, the staff were very friendly & attentive, the starter bread was lightly toasted and warm The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the peppercorn sauce was spot on. The crispy potato was ok, a bit too ‘fried’ for my liking and I was expecting more of a ‘baked’ potato texture. I like how their item can be customisable (like with the drink) and honestly I’d choose chips over the crispy potatoes if I had to do it again HOWEVER, this was the only time I had to pay for bread and it’s for $7?! A bit sneaky that they didn’t tell me it’s gonna cost extra!! Definitely lowering my rating for this. Visited on 17 August 2024

We had a beautiful first time experience at the Santini Bar & Grill. We were welcomed warmly by Jess who happened to be the same person who pleasantly assisted us with our booking over the phone. We were shown to our table setting for two. It had a romantic atmosphere with a beautiful candlit dinner setting. Saturday evenings surely has proven to be their most busiest time however the staff were very well orchestrated being able to tend to several tables at a time. The noise level was above average of course due the restaurant being at its full capacity, there were alot of conversing going all at once, including birthday celebrations. We started off with mocktails which was good, and ordered the crab linguine to share, hubby ordered the rib-eye steak with a side of beans and i ordered the Squid ink Risotto! we were most impressed by the side table setup. Our server graciously dished it and served it beautifully. The 🦑 ink risotto definitely was the best dish out of everything we ordered. It was so full of flavour, creamy with such a unique texture with the fish roe and calamari. The fish roe popped in your mouth leaving bursts of flavour! Hubby loved his steak, it was cooked to perfection (the way he likes it) and of course the crab 🦀 linguine 👏did👏not👏 disappoint! So fresh! We finished off with the cannoli 🤤 it was the perfect way to finish our meal.. so light & airy, the cheese filling was so soft and light while the pastry was so fresh!
